Italian cuisine @Amici

Hmmm... after long time ignoring my crave on something new, this weekend i decided to move and look for a good food.

I had heard about Holland Village for quite sometimes but never really think to go there. So 3 weeks ago i went there, with some guidance from ladyironchef blog.

After i reached there i a bit stunned, it's quite a different as my thought. I expected a place full of streets food but instead i found a street full of restaurant. After walk from end to end, and considering between Lebanese and Italian food, i decided to go Amici due to credit card promotion they offered.

When i was waiting at the small door, the waitress come and asked for my reservation which i didn't do. Then, they offered me a table @ balcony or open air facing road side. Considering their balcony is like a small space about 1m square, i took the table facing road side.

The menu
They have some variety of pasta, salad, antipasti, soup , coffee and wines.
I decided to have Lobster Bisque, Pasta with Squid's Ink and Fried Cod and 1 cup of cappuccino.

They served cappuccino first, nothing special about it.

Next they served Lobster Bisque... hmmm.... since this is my first time taste Lobster Bisque i have no comparison but it taste nice.. a sour and little spice taste and fresh lobster.

After wait quite long (long enough to finish half of the Lobster Bisque) they served the pasta. I taste it and a bit dissapointed, after taste their Lobster Bisque actually i hope same quality from their pasta but the pasta just taste normal almost plain. They gave a generous numbers of squid slices and 3 slices of fried cod. The ingredients are fresh.

The Service
This restaurant service is quite good until the time i asked for Tabasco, i had to ask for 3 times and wait for around 10 minutes to get it. Generally is not too bad maybe they a bit busy that night.

The Price
Total Price for all is around 62, but after discount from one Credit Card it become around 48.
